Optimisation of air brake systems

In addition to designing and developing new air brake systems, Tietjen also supports its customers in optimising current systems – whether on tractor units or trailers. With regard to amended and new regulations from the Tractor Mother Regulation, for example, the brakes of newly registered tractors must comply with Regulation EU 2015/68. This partly affects the braking function of older trailers, which then sometimes react with a delay when coupled with a new tractor.

Tietjen performs the respective measurements, creates brake calculations and optimises the existing trailer brake. The vast experience and cost-consciousness of Tietjen's technicians guarantee that existing systems achieve optimum results in terms of functionality.
