About us

Anybody working with air brake systems has heard of Tietjen. This is not arrogance speaking, but our expertise. For more than 40 years, Tietjen has developed air brake systems for retrofitting, conversion and initial equipment. That's why we excel in this field and why quite a lot of dealers and manufacturers know us.

The Tietjen employees are passionate about their work. Everyone of these first-class trained specialists is very knowledgeable and highly motivated. Even more so when they are presented with a new and very tricky challenge.

We know very well what manufacturers of agricultural and construction machinery want from us: Individual and intelligent solutions. Developed from almost zero. But immediately ready for series manufacturing.

Tietjen is owner managed and will remain so. What started out as a smithy under Wilhelm Tietjen, Jürgen Tietjen has turned into a company that has gained a worldwide reputation as a specialist for air brake systems. In 2012, the third generation entered the company with Hauke Tietjen. Together, father and son continue to lead the business into the future.
